It is often used in the production of polyurethane elastomers, which are used in products such as clothing, footwear, upholstery, and automotive parts. Dimethyl dithiocarbamyl propyl sulfonic acid sodium salt has a high viscosity at low concentrations. This product is also compatible with other additives such as diisocyanates or glycols that can be used to make polyurethanes more flexible or heat-resistant.
