Descripción

N-[3-(Dimethylamino)propyl]methacrylamide is a monomer used in the preparation of polymers. It is reactive, acidic, and has been shown to be an efficient polymerization initiator. N-[3-(Dimethylamino)propyl]methacrylamide has been used as a model system for studying cell specific interactions with polymers and also in transfection experiments. This monomer is toxic to bacteria and has been shown to have antibacterial efficacy in vitro.
