Descripción:
6,7-Dibromo-4-methoxy-1H-indole is a reagent that is used in the synthesis of thyroid hormones. It has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells, as well as the progression of atherosclerosis and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis. 6,7-Dibromo-4-methoxy-1H-indole has also been shown to have antihyperglycemic effects in diabetic mice and to be useful in treating cardiovascular diseases. The chemical is not toxic and is only moderately irritating to skin and eyes.
