Información del producto
- 2,4-Dichlorohydrocinnamic acid
3-(2,4-Dichlorophenyl)propionic acid is a non-systemic, selective inhibitor of the enzyme acetylcholinesterase (AChE), which breaks down the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. This drug has been used in animal models to study the role of AChE in Alzheimer's disease and other neurological disorders. It may also have therapeutic potential for Parkinson's disease and schizophrenia. 3-(2,4-Dichlorophenyl)propionic acid has no affinity for benzodiazepine receptors or other targets that are biologically important in humans, but it does bind to vanilloid receptors with high affinity in vitro.
