Dodecafluorosuberic acid is a fatty acid with 12 carbon atoms. It is a polylactate and a fluorinated aliphatic hydrocarbon that has been shown to have anti-cancer properties. Dodecafluorosuberic acid inhibits the production of prostaglandins, which are eicosanoids that play a role in inflammation, pain, and fever. The molecule can be used as an efficient method for cross-linking polymer films in electrophotography.
