Información del producto
1,4-Dimethyl-1,2,4-triazolium Iodide is a synthetic compound that is used in methodologies as a tetrazolium salt. It is used to detect the transfer reactions of 1,4-dimethyl-1,2,4-triazole with electron rich olefins and alkynes. The labile nature of the ligand and its low density make it an excellent candidate for the synthesis of triazoles. Recrystallization and synthetically controlled densities are two methods of synthesizing this compound. This compound can also be synthesized by azidation of olefins followed by reduction with sodium borohydride or lithium aluminum hydride.
