1,1'-Dinaphthylamine is a chemical compound that is found in many industrial solvents. It has two isomers: alpha- and beta-dinaphthyl amines. Alpha-dinaphthylamine is chemically more stable, but less soluble in organic solvents. It can be used as a reference molecule for electrochemical studies of other derivatives. 1,1'-Dinaphthylamine has been shown to inhibit DNA synthesis and induce chromosomal aberrations in mammalian cells.
