Descripción:Diisopropyl adipate is a pharmaceutical preparation that is used in the treatment of infectious diseases. It is an active ingredient in antimicrobial agents, which inhibit bacterial growth by disrupting the cell membrane and inhibiting fatty acid synthesis. Diisopropyl adipate has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. Diisopropyl adipate is absorbed through the skin and can increase the absorption of other compounds applied topically or taken orally. This chemical may also have carcinogenic potential as it has been shown to cause tumors in rats when administered orally.
