Información del producto
- Decylmethyldichlorosilane
- (Decyl)(methyl)dichlorosilane
- Silane, dichlorodecylmethyl-
Dichlorodecylmethylsilane is a chemical that is not soluble in water, so it is only used as a solvent in the manufacturing of other chemicals. It has been shown to be stable at higher temperatures and pressures, with a high boiling point. Dichlorodecylmethylsilane has been shown to react with hydrochloric acid to form hydrogen chloride and dichlorodecylmethane, which can then react with hydrocarbons to form chlorinated hydrocarbons. The addition of dichlorodecylmethylsilanes to fabricating processes of polymers often improves the properties of these materials by inhibiting the formation of cracks or increasing their elasticity. Dichlorodecylmethylsilane is also used as an additive in phase liquid chromatography for silicone rubber coatings.
