Descripción:
2,3-Difluorobenzoic acid is a chemical compound that has been shown to have therapeutic potential in the treatment of cancer and autoimmune diseases. It inhibits the production of inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6 and IL-8. 2,3-Difluorobenzoic acid also inhibits the growth of cancer cells by inhibiting their ability to divide and replicate. This effect is due to its interference with hydrogen bonding between DNA bases. 2,3-Difluorobenzoic acid has also been shown to be effective against bowel disease by inhibiting the proliferation of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) cells.
