Descripción:
2',4'-Difluoroacetophenone is a toxic compound that reacts in the presence of acid to form pyrazoles. It has been found to have significant antifungal activity, and is able to inhibit the growth of fungi that are resistant to other fungicides. 2',4'-Difluoroacetophenone also has a high polarizability and is sensitive to changes in water vapor. The molecule absorbs light in the ultraviolet region, which makes it an effective highlighting agent.
