Diphenylmethane-4,4'-dicarboxylic acid is a synthetic diphenylmethane compound that has fluorescent properties. It also has anti-tumor activity and can be used to treat cancer. Diphenylmethane-4,4'-dicarboxylic acid has been shown to inhibit the growth of tumor cells in vitro by binding to the receptor site on the cell membrane and blocking the release of certain substances. This drug also has an isothermic process that is used for encapsulation. The oxidation products of diphenylmethane-4,4'-dicarboxylic acid are medicines and dyestuffs.
