Descripción:2,3-Difluoroanisole is a synthetic organic compound that is used in the preparation of other organic compounds. It is prepared by the amination reaction of chloroacetic acid and 2,3-difluoroethanol. The anticancer activity of 2,3-difluoroanisole has been studied extensively. This compound inhibits the growth of cancer cells by inhibiting DNA synthesis and protein synthesis. The inhibitory effects are due to the chlorine atom on the molecule, which can react with hydrogen atoms on amino groups on enzymes, thereby preventing these enzymes from functioning properly. 2,3-Difluoroanisole also has inhibitory properties against olefinic reactions such as formylation or chemists reactions at high temperatures.
