3,5-Dimethoxy-4-hydroxybenzyl alcohol is an organic compound that is a colorless liquid. It has a chemical formula of C14H20O4 and a molecular weight of 256.32. 3,5-Dimethoxy-4-hydroxybenzyl alcohol occurs naturally in lignin and it can be found in the form of esters or ethers in plant resins such as coniferous or pine trees.
