Descripción:Dimethyldifluorosilane is an aromatic hydrocarbon that can be used as a chemical intermediate. It is a fluorine-containing compound that has the formula CF2H2Si(CH3)2. Dimethyldifluorosilane is prepared by the reaction of hydrogen fluoride and inorganic acid with silicon tetrachloride. The product is then hydrolyzed to give dimethyldifluorosilane. Dimethyldifluorosilane can be used for the fabrication of polymers or as a precursor for other compounds such as methacrylates, epoxy resins, and silicones. It can also be used for the synthesis of alkynyl groups and methyl ethyls.
