Dilithium Hexafluorosilicate (LiFSiO4) is an inorganic compound that is a salt of lithium hexafluorosilicate. It is a white solid with an average particle diameter of 0.1-0.2 μm and a chemical stability range of −50 to +250 °C. The activation energy for the reaction with water vapour is 3.3 eV, which makes it suitable for use in coatings and polycarboxylic acid-based products. LiFSiO4 has been shown to have an enhanced reactivity with hydroxyl groups and can be used as a catalyst for reactions involving hydrocarbon substrates.
