4,4'-Difluorobenzylideneaniline is an organic compound that has two isomers. The fluorine atom in 4,4'-Difluorobenzylideneaniline can be substituted with a hydrogen atom to produce 4-Hydroxydifluorobenzylideneaniline. When the fluorine atom of 4,4'-Difluorobenzylideneaniline is replaced with a chlorine atom to produce 4-Chlorodifluorobenzylideneaniline, it becomes a synthon for other compounds. This chemical belongs to the class of organometallic compounds and supramolecular techniques. It has been shown to have antiinflammatory activity when tested on rats.
