Descripción:2-(2,4-Difluorophenyl)ethylamine is an acetone condensation reaction product of dipeptides with a nonpolar solvent. This nucleobase analogue has high yields and is easy to synthesize. 2-(2,4-Difluorophenyl)ethylamine is used in the synthesis of nucleosides and nucleotides. It can be used as a nitrogenous base for DNA or RNA synthesis, or as a precursor for the manufacture of pharmaceuticals. 2-(2,4-Difluorophenyl)ethylamine is also an analogue for the amino acid proline.
