Isentropic, isothermal, and transfer processes were observed during these experiments. Methanol was found to be a good solvent for ethanol as it has a low density relative to ethanol. The heat transfer coefficient increased with increasing pressure when using ethanol as a solvent. The heat transfer coefficient decreased with increasing pressure when using methanol as a solvent.
