Descripción:(1R,2R)-2-(3,4-Difluorophenyl)cyclopropanecarboxylic acid ethyl ester is a chiral compound that is used in process optimization. The (1R,2R)-enantiomer of this compound has been shown to be effective in treating acute coronary syndromes. It is a substrate for the enzyme biocatalysis and is metabolized by cyclopropanecarboxylic acid synthase to produce cyclopropane carboxamide. The (1S,2S)-enantiomer of this compound has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties.
