Descripción:Ethyl 4-fluorobenzoate is a synthetic chemical with an ethyl group substituted for the hydrogen at position 4. It has been used in studies of casein kinase, pro-inflammatory cytokines, and monomers. The compound has also been used as an acceptor in luminescence studies and as a chloride donor in kinetic and magnetic resonance spectroscopy for structure determination. Ethyl 4-fluorobenzoate has also been shown to have an inhibitory effect on echinocandin, a drug that is used to treat infections caused by Candida albicans.
