Descripción

Ethyl nitroacetate is a cholinergic compound that is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of other chemical compounds. It can be synthesized in an asymmetric way, with different groups on each of the two carbon atoms adjacent to the nitro group. This product can also be used for the synthesis of natural products, such as alkaloids and terpenes, or for the production of pharmaceuticals. Ethyl nitroacetate is not very soluble in water or polar solvents, but it has potent inhibitory activity against transfer reactions and is stable under acidic and basic conditions.
