Descripción:
1-Ethyl-3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazole is a heterocyclic organic compound that is obtained from the reaction of ethyl formate with sodium bis(trimethylsilyl)amide and bromoacetaldehyde diethyl acetal. It is a colorless liquid with a pungent odor. The yield of 1-ethyl-3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazole can be increased by using an efficient method for iodination. The dichloromethane used in this reaction should be purified with activated carbon to avoid the formation of impurities.
