• Descripción: Ethyl 3-amino-4-(cyclohexylamino)benzoate is a potent inhibitor of cellular death. It induces ferroptosis, a caspase-independent cell death mechanism, in cells that are normally resistant to apoptosis. Ethyl 3-amino-4-(cyclohexylamino)benzoate has been shown to induce the release of iron from ferritin and inhibit iron uptake by macrophages. This drug has also been shown to protect against oxidative injury and radiation, as well as neuronal death. Ethyl 3-amino-4-(cyclohexylamino)benzoate may be beneficial for treating bowel disease by reducing inflammation and protecting against damage from radiation therapy.
