2-(4-(Ethylsulfonyl)phenyl)acetic acid (ETSA) is a molecule that can be used in cancer immunotherapy. ETSA stimulates the production of T-helper 17 cells, which are immune cells that fight cancer. ETSA has been shown to inhibit proliferation and induce apoptosis in cancer cells. ETSA also has anti-inflammatory properties, and has been shown to inhibit the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β, IL-2, IL-8, and TNFα. 2-(4-(Ethylsulfonyl)phenyl)acetic acid is a cell permeable compound that can be used for therapeutic purposes.
