Descripción:3-(Ethylamino)-p-cresol is a heterocycle that is used as a model organism for the study of acceptor photophysical properties. It has been shown to have antifungal effects in mammalian cells. 3-(Ethylamino)-p-cresol can also act as a peroxide and hydroxyl group donor, which may be due to the presence of an acidic catalyst at its C3 position. The molecule was synthesised by the reaction of ethylamine with p-cresol in a chelate ring synthesis.
