Descripción:Ezatiostat is a small molecule that inhibits the activity of fatty acid synthase, an enzyme that catalyzes the synthesis of long-chain fatty acids. It has been reported to reduce oxidative DNA damage in primary cells and in hematopoietic cells. Ezatiostat has also been shown to inhibit methyltransferase activity and inhibit mitochondrial membrane potential.
