Descripción:4-(2,3-Epoxypropoxy)carbazole is a molecule that is synthesized from the reactants epichlorohydrin and propylene oxide. This drug binds to the benzodiazepine receptor and has shown potential for treating Alzheimer's disease, cancer, and other ailments. The enantiomer of this molecule has been shown to have anti-tumor effects in mice with breast cancer. 4-(2,3-Epoxypropoxy)carbazole also binds to the benzodiazepine receptor in the brain and blocks neurotransmitter release.
