Ethyl 1-naphthaleneacetate is a pesticide that is used in agriculture. It is a high-temperature decomposition product of thionyl chloride and phosphotungstic acid, and has been shown to be effective against various pests. Ethyl 1-naphthaleneacetate is used as an agent for the treatment of plant and animal diseases.
