Descripción:2'-Ethoxyacetophenone is a Friedel-Crafts acylation agent. It reacts with nucleophilic groups, such as alcohols and amines, to form an acylated product. 2'-Ethoxyacetophenone has been shown to be a useful tool for the synthesis of chiral compounds with high yields and good enantiomeric excesses. This compound can also be used as a precursor in the synthesis of polyaromatic molecules containing a chiral center.
