Descripción:
1-Ethyl-3-methyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carbaldehyde is a reactive intermediate that is used as a reagent in organic synthesis. It is also a useful scaffold for the synthesis of complex compounds, such as pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. 1-Ethyl-3-methyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carbaldehyde has been used as an intermediate to synthesize the antihistamine drug terfenadine and the insecticide carbofuran. This chemical is manufactured by reacting ethyl pyruvate with anhydrous hydrazine.
