Descripción:Ethyl 3-Oxohexanoate is a fatty acid that is used in cell culture as a hydroxyl group donor. It has been shown to have anticancer activity against human breast cancer cells. The anticancer activity of ethyl 3-oxohexanoate may be due to its ability to form diazonium salt, which reacts with chloride ions to form an aliphatic hydrocarbon. This reaction releases an active methylene group, which can react with the coumarin derivatives of the diazonium salt to form structural analysis and reaction intermediates.
