Información del producto
- 1-Ethyl-2,3-Dimethylimidazolium Bis((Trifluoromethyl)Sulfonyl)Imide
1-Ethyl-2,3-dimethylimidazolium Bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (EDTIM) is a hydrophobic ionic liquid that is a member of the class of ionic liquids. It is also an activator for proton exchange membrane fuel cells. EDTIM has been shown to have viscosity properties that are independent of temperature and in a range similar to those of water. EDTIM has been observed to be stable at high temperatures such as 80°C. This compound exhibits macroscopic transport properties that depend on the concentration and type of solute in the mixture. The phase equilibrium between solvent and solute is also dependent on temperature and pressure, as well as the type and concentration of solute. Ionophores can be used to modify the transport properties of EDTIM by changing its hydrophobicity or charge distribution, which in turn changes its electrical conductivity.
