Descripción

Effusanin A is a natural compound that belongs to the class of diterpenes. It has been shown to have an apoptotic effect on human liver cancer cells and human liver cells, as well as inhibiting the growth of cervical cancer cells. Effusanin A has been shown to inhibit the production of inflammatory prostaglandins in stimulated RAW 264.7 cells, which may be due to its ability to act as an immunosuppressant. Effusanin A has also been shown to activate the immune system by increasing expression of CD4+ T-cells and reducing expression of interleukin-10 (IL-10).
