Evocarpine is a Chinese herb that is used as an anti-inflammatory agent for treating rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory conditions. The effect of evocarpine on rat liver microsomes was studied in vitro and pharmacokinetics were measured after oral administration in vivo.
