• Descripción: Ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether is a member of the glycol ether family. The ethylene glycol reacts with phosphorus pentoxide to form an epoxy, which reacts with the alcohol to create an ether. This product is used in electrochemical impedance spectroscopy as a dna template and can be used for water treatment. It can also be used as an additive in wastewater treatment and has been shown to inhibit the polymerase chain reaction. Ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether is also used as a solvent in industrial applications, such as polyurethane production, and has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria.
