3-(2-Fluoroethyl)-8-[4-(4-fluorophenyl)-4-oxobutyl]-1-phenyl-1,3,8-triazaspiro[4.5]decan-4-one is a reactive compound that binds to the 5HT2A receptor and is structurally similar to clozapine. It has been shown to control the expression of dopamine in mice and rats, which may be due to its ability to inhibit uptake and protein synthesis. This drug also has a negative effect on the central nervous system, which may be related to its antagonistic effects on the α subunit of glutamate receptors and dextran sulfate uptake.
