Descripción:Florasulam is a triazolopyrimidine herbicide that exhibits synergistic effects with other herbicides. Florasulam is used as a selective pre-emergence and post-emergence herbicide for the control of annual grasses and broadleaf weeds in soybean, corn, sugar beet, and cotton. The product has been shown to be non-toxic to humans when ingested at up to 10 times the recommended dosage. Florasulam undergoes photolysis in the reaction solution or in human serum, yielding solanum tuberosum which is then metabolized by hydrolysis. The reaction rate is pH dependent and increases with increasing temperature. Florasulam inhibits the synthesis of protein by inhibiting amino acid biosynthesis by binding to the enzyme cytochrome P450 reductase. It also binds to DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV enzymes, which are vital for bacterial reproduction. This binding prevents transcription and
