Descripción:Flufenprop-methyl is an antimicrobial agent that belongs to the group of fatty acid esters. It is an effective chemotherapy for the treatment of cancer tissues. Flufenprop-methyl has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of HIV infection, and it can be used as a contraceptive agent in women. This drug binds to glucuronide conjugates in the body, which leads to its excretion through urine. Flufenprop-methyl has also been used as a diagnostic agent for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and basic fibroblast cultures. The effectiveness of Flufenprop-methyl was tested on untreated group, where it was found that this drug decreased the number of mononuclear cells in blood samples by more than 50%.
