Descripción:
3-fluoroanisole is an organic compound that is a colorless liquid with a sweet smell. It is used as a precursor to other organic compounds and has been shown to be toxic to animals in high doses. 3-fluoroanisole can be found in the environment, where it can accumulate in plants and soil. The biological properties of 3-fluoroanisole are not well understood, but it has been shown that the hydrogenation reduction of this compound occurs at room temperature. This reaction leads to the formation of two isomers: 3-fluoroanisol and 3-fluoropropanol.
