Descripción:
2-Fluoro-3-nitropyridine is a residue optimization agent that is used to treat breast cancer. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells by inhibiting the activity of protein S6. This agent also inhibits the function of a factor receptor, which is involved in cell growth, and blocks the synthesis of a protein (protein s6) that activates growth factors. 2-Fluoro-3-nitropyridine has also been shown to have anticancer effects on breast cancer xenografts in mice.
