(4-fluoro-3-formylphenyl)boronic Acid is a molecule that is used in cancer therapy. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells by binding to metabotropic glutamate receptors, tyrosine kinases, and growth factor receptors. (4-fluoro-3-formylphenyl)boronic Acid has also been shown to inhibit fungal growth by interfering with the epidermal growth factor receptor. This drug may be useful in treating human epidermoid carcinoma or skin cancer. This molecule is an isomeric form of boronate ester, which can be found in certain antifungal drugs.
