Descripción:Fosetyl-aluminium is a fungicide used to protect plants from attack by a wide range of fungi. Fosetyl-aluminium is a phosphite that inhibits the growth of plant pathogens by interfering with their metabolism. Fosetyl-aluminium has been shown to inhibit the growth of fungi in nutrient solution, and can be used to control fungal diseases on crops such as wheat and potatoes. This chemical also has a synergistic effect when combined with calcium carbonate, which increases its effectiveness against certain fungi. Fosetyl-aluminium can be added directly to soil or sprayed onto crops. It can also be used as an additive in animal feed, although this is not recommended due to the potential for damaging effects on livestock.
