Descripción:Foramsulfuron is a selective herbicide that inhibits the metabolic pathways of plants. It is an inhibitor of the enzyme acetohydroxyacid synthase (AHAS), which is a key enzyme in the synthesis of fatty acids and other biologically important molecules. Foramsulfuron has been shown to inhibit bacterial growth, and it also interacts with other chemicals. Foramsulfuron has been shown to have no effect on biological products, but can cause toxicity in animals when used at high levels. Sample preparation may be required for toxicity studies because this chemical is not soluble in water.
