• Descripción: Fmoc-Asn(Trt)-OH is a pegylated molecule synthesized by attaching a polyethylene glycol (PEG) to the terminal amino acids. It has been shown that Fmoc-Asn(Trt)-OH inhibits peptide synthesis by inhibiting the formation of an enzyme-substrate complex. This inhibition prevents the transfer of an amino acid from one protein chain to another, preventing the formation of a new chain and subsequent polymerization. Fmoc-Asn(Trt)-OH also has an inhibitory effect on polypeptide synthesis. The molecular weight of this compound is about 535 Daltons.
