Fmoc-a-Me-Lys(Boc)-a-Me-Lys(Boc)-OH is a peptidomimetic that mimics the natural structure of a protein. It is synthesized by attaching a Fmoc group to the N-terminus, followed by an amide bond with Lys(Boc) and then another amide bond with Lys(Boc). The Fmoc group provides protection from proteases, while the Lys(Boc) groups are susceptible to proteolysis. This peptidomimetic has been shown to inhibit serine proteases, such as chymotrypsin, trypsin and elastase. In addition, it has minimal quantified residues and does not have any endogenous sequence or systematic modifications.
