Descripción:4-Fluoro-1-naphthol is a chemical compound that is used in the termination of 1-fluoronaphthalene derivatives. It is also used as a carbonylating agent for the synthesis of organic compounds containing sulfur and silicon. 4-Fluoro-1-naphthol reacts with anions to form sulphite esters, and it reacts with metal ions such as tetrafluoroborate or perchlorate to form anion radicals. These radicals can be used in the synthesis of organic compounds containing functional groups or they can be converted into other functional groups. 4-Fluoro-1-naphthol has two acidic groups, which can be used to connect two molecules together.
