Información del producto
- Pyridine, 5-Fluoro-2-Nitro-
5-Fluoro-2-nitropyridine is an inhibitor of the G1 phase cell cycle that binds to CDK4 and prevents the phosphorylation of Rb. It has been shown to inhibit tumor cells by inducing apoptosis and inhibiting cell proliferation. 5-Fluoro-2-nitropyridine is a lead compound for the treatment of cancer, which is currently being studied in clinical trials. This drug has been shown to be selective for tumor cells, as it does not inhibit normal cell growth. The mechanism of action for 5-fluoro-2-nitropyridine is through inhibition of cyclin dependent kinases that are involved in regulation of the cell cycle.
