Fluorescent Brightener 263 is a disulfonate that functions as a fluorescent dye. This compound has been shown to be effective in recording high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) results and can be used as an ion-pairing reagent for reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RPLC). Fluorescent Brightener 263 has been optimized for use with tetrasulfonate, which provides the highest sensitivity. It is also well suited for use as a fixative and fluorescence dye in combination with other compounds.
