4-(4-Fluorophenyl)-3-thiosemicarbazide is a molecule that has been shown to stabilize cells and prevent apoptosis. It has anticancer activity, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the kinase receptor signaling pathway. 4-(4-Fluorophenyl)-3-thiosemicarbazide can also inhibit the growth of cancer cells, including colorectal carcinoma and neuroblastoma. It has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli and Salmonella typhimurium. The compound was also found to have a protective effect on neurons in animal models of Parkinson's disease.
